Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Do you work from a photograph?
A: Yes, at checkout we ask that you include a photo of your home that is as clear and as straight on as possible. Feel free to send a few. In order to get the best resolution, it’s best to avoid sending screenshots of photos or photos pulled off of the internet.
Q: How can I take a great photo for reference?
A: The best photos are generally taken when a house is lit from the front or above. Please make sure your photo includes the entire facade of the home and includes accurate colors and all the details you’d like to include. Pull cars out of the driveway and remove any debris that might obstruct the view. Hold your camera steady by keeping your elbows close to your body and try to make sure the vertical edges of the viewfinder frame are perpendicular to the vertical edges of your home.
